Organization Information

The mission of the Ezra Center is to provide a variety of activities and services to meet the needs of the mature Jewish population of Orange County.  We believe that healthy well-motivated and challenged individuals are most likely to be happiest and most fulfilled.     We provide a warm, safe, and caring environment that includes a Kosher Nutrition Program, Health Assessment Program, and a full services Activities Program.  Our programs are recreational, social, educational as well as cultural.

Our primary goal is to continue to provide daytime programming for the active,  adults of  Orange County. The population Ezra serves is 99%+ over sixty years of age.  Less than 1% under sixty avail themselves of our daytime programming.

Our secondary goal is to expand or help expand this type of program to other locations that indicate a desire and/or need for an Ezra type program.  (The Ezra Center in Downey was started in this way with our guidance and support.   An Ezra Center at the Jackson Heights Jewish Center in Queens, N.Y. is a result of our input and support to a visitor from there.)
